Welcome to The Well Balanced Being, we are here to support your emotional wellbeing through evidenced based practice, focusing on the whole-person approach.  

 

Our location amongst the hills and scenic views of the Rossendale Valley and a background in psychological wellbeing & holistic wellbeing practice, was the inspiration for the creation of the services and products offered, through a collaborative approach which ensures we are as accessible & as inclusive as possible.

Private Facial and Targeted Massage Practices

We provide a range of treatments:​

 

Facial Release Craniosacral Therapy headaches & migraines | sinus congestion | neck pain & tension | jaw pain (TMJ dysfunction) | chronic stress & emotional tension.

This is a hands-on technique that works with the fascia (the connective tissue) of the face, head, & neck to reduce tension, improve alignment, & support the body’s natural healing processes. Uses mixed modalities including acupressure, natural wood & stone therapies.​​

 

TWBB Hybrid Facial release maintenance massage facial release for relaxation & natural uplift.​

A fusion of hand & facial tool techniques designed to release tension, improve lymphatic drainage, and support muscle recovery in the face, incorporating the neck, head & upper arms.  

 

Targeted Massage Therapy mixed modality incorporating PNF stretch therapy | myofascial release | trigger point release | deep tissue | lymphatic drainage.

Mixed Modality refers to a customised treatment which blends multiple massage & bodywork techniques to address a specific problem area, rather than using just one approach. This is goal-focused, personalised & typically more effective for pain relief, mobility issues, or chronic tension.​​

 

These are private treatments delivered in the relaxing environment of our purpose built pod or in private clinics, in Rossendale, Lancashire. 

Yoga Practice

We all know yoga is good for the whole wellbeing.  We offer a wide range of different practices designed to meet you specific needs and goals. 

 

Our Postnatal | Recovery Yoga is a gentle & effective way to ease yourself back into physical activity following birth.  

 

We also offer Restorative Yoga practice for supporting deep & overall relaxation, through prop supported gentle poses.With the obvious physical health benefits of gentle yoga recovery, we must also be mindful that as a busy new mum, adjusting to a new occupation, our emotional wellbeing must also be allowed the space to strengthen.It focuses on strengthening the pelvic floor & core muscles, whilst incorporating relaxation techniques to promote The Well Balanced Being.

 

We have many more Yoga Practice sessions including Ease into your day flows, pre and postnatal, chair sit and stretch and breathe and balance sessions to include your 3 to 5 year olds.  For details, location and to book a session or course use the Book Yoga Practice below.

Group Guided Self-Help Facial Practice

The delivery of a one hour session to support your own learning of facial techniques for personal wellbeing, including Gua Sha, Facial Yoga, Kansa Wands and more. By using guided self-help we can bring the benefits of facial practice into our own daily routines, aiding tension release, and softening the mindset through technique acquisition when we need it.​

Absolutely amazing experience with Suzanne! The pod was beautiful, so cosy and warm and the treatment was brilliant! I hate going anywhere make up free, but Suzanne made me feel so comfortable! I would 100% recommend this treatment and Suzanne is an angel!
